Patna,
Soon after special CBI court of Ranchi sentenced three and half years of imprisonment to RJD chief Lalu Prasad in one more case of fodder scam, his younger son and leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav today said it was result of negative politics being pursued by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and BJP and people would give them befitting reply in next Lok Sabha elections.
Mr Yadav, after marathon meeting of his party to fine tune strategy to be adopted in prevailing scenario of Lalu being put behind bars in yet another case of fodder scam, told media persons that it was result of negative politics being pursued by Chief Minister Mr Kumar and BJP.
It was strange to note that leader of the party voted to power in 2015 Bihar assembly elections, had been put behind bars while those rejected by the people, were running government in the state, he remarked.
“Our party is united like rock and those waiting for any trouble were in illusion”, RJD leader said adding that troubles of Mr Kumar and BJP were not over with Mr Prasad being put behind bars and infact it was just beginning of a series of troubles for them.
People were well aware of the conspiracy hatched by Mr Kumar and BJP to implicate Mr Yadav and they would give them befitting reply in next Lok Sabha elections, he added.
Mr Yadav said that in first phase, message of Mr Prasad would be made available to all people at village level in printed paper so that they could know the facts behind deep rooted conspiracy of Chief Minister Mr Kumar and BJP for sending Mr Prasad behind the bars.
In second phase after January 14, all leaders of the party would visit villages and address the public meetings, highlighting the conspiracy and also failures of Nitish Kumar government in realising the dreams of the people as promised during elections, he added.
