The Coast Guard Sector in Charleston, South Carolina is searching for a man who reportedly fell overboard near Murrells Inlet Friday evening.

According to Lt. James Zorn with the Coast Guard, the missing boater’s name is Howard Dale Smith and he went missing around 9:30 p.m.

The name of Smith’s boat is called “Addias Sylvester,” and the search for him is ongoing as of Saturday morning.
