Chelsea prepare shock loan exit for David Luiz after Antonio Conte bust-up

CHELSEA are ready to send David Luiz out on loan this month.

David Luiz could leave Chelsea this month with the club hoping to loan him out

Luiz and Antonio Conte’s relationship has broken down to the point where the Chelsea are ready to send him out until the end of the season.

And Express Sport understands Chelsea could loan him abroad until the summer wit Juventus a potential destination.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in Luiz but the Blues would prefer not to deal with English clubs.

Luiz lost his place in the side after the Champions League games with Roma and has been kept out by rising star Andreas Christensen.

Chelsea completed the signing of Ross Barkley yesterday and are expected to do more business this month.

They want a left back to compete with Marcos Alonso, a striker to replace Michy Batshuayi and possibly a defender to replace Luiz.

Conte said yesterday that he does not deal with recruitment, insisting players are brought in above his head.

“I gave my opinion to the club but the club then decide the players we can buy or we can sell,” he said.

And after the game against Arsenal he told the Italian media he thought he was hard done by with funds to spend on players.

He said: “I do not aim high with my requests, especially as in my history I’ve rarely been given the players I asked for.

“I always ended up at clubs who were running an austerity programme.

“I just try to do my work. If someone arrives, good; if they don’t, then that’s fine too

“I have to continue my work, either way.”

When quizzed about his transfer plans earlier this week, Conte said: “I'm very happy to work with these players, I trust these players. I don't see a problem.

"At the same time I understand if some players are not playing with regularity and want to play with regularity."
