Yesterday, Rajkumar Hirani took everyone unawares by announcing the release date of the biopic on Sanjay Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor.
The filmmaker tweeted, "Dutt biopic releasing on June 29." There is no word on the film's title yet. Hirani is known to be guarded, so we will have to wait for the announcement at a later date. Interestingly, Shaad Ali's Soorma, which is a biopic of hockey player Sandeep Singh, is also releasing on June 29. The makers had announced the date of the Diljit Dosanjh starrer last November. Two biopics clashing at the box office, now that's a unique scenario.
