Students' Christ-math Geome-tree

POSTED January 6, 2018 11:09 a.m.

Park School sixth graders in Great Bend pose with an unusual math-inspired Christmas tree. It was created from Sierpinski triangles, which are fractal and attractive fixed sets with the overall shape of an equilateral triangle, subdivided recursively into smaller equilateral triangles. The triangles are 3-D and are stacked on each other to make a larger triangle.
