Real Madrid news: Neymar OR Eden Hazard - Perez and Zidane disagree over which ace to sign

REAL MADRID chief Florentino Perez and manager Zinedine Zidane are reportedly at odds over whether they should target Neymar or Eden Hazard this summer.

Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane are at odds over whether Neymar or Eden Hazard should be signed

Neymar has been on Real's wanted list ever since he made the breakthrough in his homeland with Santos.

And their chances of landing him improved markedly last year when he left their arch-rivals Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Hazard, meanwhile, has cemented his place as one of the Premier League's best players during his stint at Chelsea and has long been talked up as a potential Galactico.

Neymar and Hazard are the two biggest names on Real's radar as they devise their plans for the 2018/19 campaign.

But the latest reports from Spain suggest only one of them can be bought this summer.

According to Don Balon, Real deem signing both players as uneccesary because they both play on the left of a front three.

There's also the fact that the cost of the duo together would be too excessive for chiefs to justify.

It seems as though deciding on which player they should move for is not going to be easy though.

Zinedine Zidane thinks Chelsea ace Eden Hazard would cause fewer problems at Real Madrid than Neymar

Real president Perez is intent on signing Neymar one day and he sees this year as the ideal opportunity to do so.

Zidane, on the other hand, would sooner prise Hazard away from Chelsea than land the Brazilian.

That stance is apparently due to the belief that Hazard would be less likely to cause problems in the Real dressing room.

On top of signing Neymar or Hazard, Real are said to be after a striker with Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi touted as their main targets elsewhere.
