COLCHESTER, Vt. (WCAX) An update now to a WCAX investigation into a sinking boat in Malletts Bay.
It's been there since late fall and removing it was an issue of jurisdiction. Both the town and the Coast Guard claimed they couldn't.
But now we've learned that the town says they're working with the state, who has the authority to remove it. And they're considering pushing new legislation to make it easier for towns to act in cases like this.
