Letter: Warren isn't working for taxpayers, but Diehl will

I don’t get who Elizabeth Warren is working for. It is certainly not us - the taxpayers. Over the past 3 months, we have heard her call the GOP tax cuts every name in the book. She even said she would not read it. This is not the behavior of a senator, but rather a two-year-old having a tantrum.

Eighty percent of Massachusetts residents are going to get a tax break. Eight out of ten people are going to get a break. Already, we have seen numerous companies give out bonuses and pay raises in response to the bill passing. Still, Warren refuses to admit she was wrong.

While disappointing, it is not surprising. Since being elected to the senate, Warren has received a rating of zero from the National Tax Limitation committee.

I am glad Geoff Diehl is running against her. He led the successful effort to repeal automatic gas tax hikes which saved us $2 billion! He cares about us. He understands that we pay enough in taxes and that government is too big and bloated.

It is time for a new senator who will stand up for the taxpayers.
