NSCN cadres who were arrested by the Assam Rifles in Phek district.
Dimapur, Jan. 6 (EMN): Basing on specific information, troops of Assam Rifles stationed at Phek apprehended six underground cadres including two from NSCN (K) and four from NSCN (KN) from a house in Meluri town on January 5.
The troops recovered one carbine machine gun (CMG), two pistols, ammunition of various calibers and one hand grenade alongwith various incriminating documents, Spasmo proxyvon capsules from their possession. The cadres of the two factions were involved in extortion and threatening of the local populace.
The accused alongwith the recovered arms and ammunition were handed over to Police Station Phek for further investigation.
