GALESBURG — A Farmington man was arrested Friday for his alleged robbery of a gas station a week ago.
Cameron J. Miller, 30, Farmington, was taken into custody at about 11:10 a.m. Friday at 343 E. Grove St. by Galesburg police on a $100,000 warrant for aggravated robbery along with a Fulton County failure to appear warrant.
The aggravated robbery warrant was for the Shell gas station robbery, 1975 Grand Ave., on Friday, Dec. 29. Bail was set in the warrant at $100,000, meaning Miller would need $10,000 to get out of jail. Miller allegedly implied he had a gun when he took cash and consumable goods from the gas station a week ago, according to a Galesburg police report.
The Farmington man will likely make a video court appearance Monday afternoon, when he could be appointed a public defender.
