Which beauty products do you swear by?

I have fairly dry skin, especially in winter.

Weleda Skin Food is fantastic for keeping my hands and face moisturised at this time of year.

I also use it as a night cream – it’s quite heavy, but it does the trick. I also love the La Source range by Crabtree & Evelyn.

What are your essential cosmetics?

I’m really into Charlotte Tilbury at the moment. She does an amazing concealer called The Retoucher. I’d rather use that sparingly than a foundation. 

What’s your top beauty tip? 

Try smoky eyes and nude lips; it’s a great winter look.

Do you have a signature fragrance?

Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte. It’s very light, but classy like all Chanel perfumes.

Which other women do you think are beautiful?

Handsome-looking women, who are intelligent, strong and sassy.

Susan Sarandon, Rene Russo, Vera Farmiga and Carrie-Anne Moss are all amazing. 

How do you stay in shape?

Like most people at this time of year, I will be hitting the gym hard.

I’ve been so busy with work over the last few months that exercise has gone out the window.

How long do you spend getting ready for a night out?

It takes me an hour to get ready, generally, and that includes taking a shower, doing my make-up and hair. If I have less time than that, I get cranky!

Who is your favourite designer? 

I have always loved Roland Mouret. 

How do you keep your skin looking good on long filming days for Trollied?

By making sure I get plenty of early nights, abstaining from alcohol and drinking lots of water.
