Noel Turner was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1989, andClemson University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and English. While in law school, Noel was a Teaching Assistant for Moot Court, and receivedan awardfor Excellence in the Study of Law and Medicine. He also completed a judicial externship inCharlestonwith the Honorable Sol Blatt, Jr., United States District Court - South Carolina.Noel graduated from Loyola University School of Lawin 1998. Hehas been amember of the South Carolina Bar and the Spartanburg County Bar since 1998, and licensed to practice in federal court since 1999. Noel is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Noel began his legal career at Burts Turner & Rhodes in 1998, and is a full equity partner in the firm.
