A nominating committee will be appointed during the meeting of the Pine Bluff Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in the fellowship room at the Salvation Army, 501 E. 12th Ave.
The committee will be appointed by Dede Foster, auxiliary president, to prepare a slate of officers for the 2018-19 club year. A final report on the auxiliary’s Christmas activities will be given.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome at auxiliary, meetings, according to a spokesman for the group.
Dues are $10 annually and can be paid at the meeting. Anyone interested in supporting the work of the Salvation Army is invited to attend, the spokesman said. Monthly meetings are held throughout the year, except for the summer months, on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army headquarters.
