UFC London headliner Jimi Manuwa relieves rival of his consciousness with BRUTAL left hook

THE UFC will return to London once again in March – and hometown boy Jimi Manuwa will be eager to produce another memorable performance.

The heavy-handed light-heavyweight contender is aiming to bounce back with a win after being blasted out cold by Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 214 in July.

His last win came in front of a bumper crowd at London’s O2 Arena in March 2017, giving the fans exactly what they wanted.

Matched up against The Ultimate Fighter season 19 winner Corey Anderson, who many had tipped to give Manuwa problems with his cardio and movement, the Poster Boy emerged victorious via an explosive left hook.

The 37-year-old caught Anderson as he attempted to sidestep Manwua’s famed lead left hook, perfectly planting a shot on the Illinois native’s temple.

It crumpled Anderson almost immediately, sending him slamming to the canvas for an emphatic victory.

Thousands have seen the footage since it was posted online, leaving MMA fans drooling.

“Woof, that is a highlight reel strike,” said one viewer.

“Would love to see more of this from him.”

Manuwa is expected to face former opponent Jan Blachowicz on 17 March 2018 at UFC Fight Night 127.

The Brit earned bragging rights in their first encounter with a unanimous decision victory at UFC Fight Night 64 in 2015.
