Sister of victim arrested in Kanawha County stabbing

KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) - A woman has been arrested in a Kanawha County stabbing Friday evening.

The stabbing was reported at just before 5 p.m. on Meadowbrook Drive in Kanawha County.

According to deputies, a brother and sister were arguing when the sister stabbed her brother with a kitchen knife.

He was transported to the hospital in stable condition and was conscious for transportation.

The sister was arrested for malicious assault.

The brother and sister's names are not being released at this time, but the sister is 22-years-old, and the brother is 20-years-old.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the case.
