Former state treasurer Robert Crane dies at 91

WELLESLEY -- Long-time state treasurer Robert Crane died Friday at 91.

Crane served in the Legislature and was chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party and oversaw the state Lottery when it was founded in 1971.
