WAUSEON — Audrey Sonnenberg was the lone Patrick Henry player to score in double figures on Friday, but five others scored at least five points in leading the Patriots over Wauseon 60-38 in Northwest Ohio Athletic League action.
Sonnenberg’s 10 points were a team-high for Patrick Henry (4-5, 1-0 NWOAL). Kayla Prigge scored nine, Olivia Thompson chipped in eight points, Carissa Rosebrook added seven, Katelyn Drewes scored six and Leah Johns popped in five points for the Patriots.
Rylee Campbell poured in a game-high 19 points for the Indians (3-8, 0-2).

MILLER CITY — Continental shot a very cold 17 percent from the floor and Miller City took full advantage Friday night in rolling to an easy 51-30 Putnam County League victory.
The Pirates (1-9 overall) failed to reach double figures in any quarter, hitting just 10 of 58 field goal attempts and going 8 of 15 from the free throw line.
Miller City (5-8, 1-1) converted 16 of 42 field goals, but benefitted in a big way by hitting 16 of 22 free throws.
The Wildcats got 10 points apiece from Adrienne Kuhlman, Natalie Koenig and Kylie Berner with Koenig grabbing a team-leading eight rebounds. Kuhlman also had four assists.
Amber Logan’s 17 points led Continental.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk and Ridgedale combined to shoot 13 of 41 at the foul line in Friday’s low-scoring affair as the Warriors broke a halftime tie to edge by the Rockets 31-28 in Northern 10 Conference action.
Mohawk, which shot the worst of the two schools at 30.4 percent (7 of 23) from the foul line, won each of the final two quarters to improve to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the N10.
Sandra Pennington led all scorers with 15 points for the Warriors, Shay Miller scored six, and the duo grabbed eight rebounds apiece.
Briana Outcalt and Ally Johnson each scored 11 to lead Ridgedale.

OLD FORT — Old Fort’s girls won the rebounding battle with Tiffin Calvert and sunk a few more 3-pointers in sneaking past the Senecas 29-24 in Friday’s Sandusky Bay Conference River Division game.
Madison Guth popped in three of the Stockaders’ (4-6, 2-2 SBC River) five 3-pointers and scored a team-high nine points. Madisyn Spencer scored five points and added a team-high 11 rebounds in a 37-26 team effort on the boards. Morgan Miller did a bit of everything scoring five points with nine rebounds, two steals and three blocks.
Claire Thompson scored seven points and buried Calvert’s (2-7, 0-4) lone 3-pointer.
