MCSO investigates two residential burglaries

The Marion County Sheriff's Office investigated at least two residential burglaries reported on Friday.

Preliminary information indicates a burglary took place at a residence in the 14000 block of Southeast 87th Court in Summerfield sometime between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday. No information was available on what was missing or how entry was gained.

Another burglary was reported at a residence in the 17000 block of East Fort King Street in Silver Springs.

The burglary was reported to have taken place sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning and involved "unlawful entry (and) grand theft," according to a MCSO report.
