That's according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, who say Barcelona ace Gerard Pique has learnt of the pair vetoing a deal and has started to tell everyone he can about it.

Diario Gol say Perez is ready to throw the kitchen sink at getting 18-goal Icardi on-board this month.

However, Ronaldo is said to be heavily opposed to the potential deal for two reasons.

First of all, the Portuguese does not want to see Karim Benzema lose his place in the Real starting XI because he works to his benefit.

Ronaldo is also against Icardi rocking up in Madrid because of his personality, with the Inter man similar to him in wanting all of the attention.

Ronaldo's team-mate Ramos is well aware of the dressing room disharmony that Icardi's arrival could bring with it and, like Ronaldo, has issued a warning to Perez.

Diario Gol say word of Ronaldo and Ramos vetoing a deal for Icardi has got back to Barcelona defender Pique.

And he's apparently spreading the news because he can't get his head around it.

Ramos, meanwhile, is said to prefer Tottenham hotshot Harry Kane to Icardi if Real are to add another attacker to their ranks.
