Five Falcons reached double figures and the West Burlington High School boys basketball team coasted by Cardinal, 95-32, in a Southeast Iowa Superconference South Division game at Eldon Friday night.
The Falcons' Jonah Marlow led all scorers with 24 points. Tanner Snodgrass had 17, Colten Hohenthaner scored 14, Colten Sherwood had 12 points and Dayton Johnson added 10. Ten Falcons scored.
West Burlington improved to 7-3 and plays Central Lee at Donnellson on Tuesday.
Wapello 67, Columbus 32
Trenton Massner scored 21 points and led the Indians to a North Division win at Wapello.
Logan Belzer scored 12 for Wapello and Keaton Mitchell added 11. Tommy Pretz paced Columbus with 10 points. Chepo Cardenas and Abel Mena each added nine.
Wapello (8-1) hosts Wilton today. Columbus (0-11) plays Highland at Riverside on Tuesday.
IMS 63, Mediapolis 46
Iowa Mennonite School had three players in double figures en route to a North Division win at Mediapolis.
Cole Ours led IMS with 15 points. Reggie Bontrager scored 14 and Mitchell Schmieder added 13. Ben Wolgemuth and Will Schroeder scored 15 each to pace Mediapolis. Owen Timmerman finished with eight points and six assists.
Mediapolis (2-7) hosts Louisa-Muscatine Tuesday. IMS improved to 8-1.
Lone Tree 75, W-MU 70
Winfield-Mount Union's BJ Rodgers scored a game-high 30 points, but Lone Tree edged the Wolves in a North Division game at Lone Tree.
Cody McCreight scored 16 points for Winfield-Mount Union and Daunte Oepping added 15. Brock Smith led Lone Tree with 27 points. Brady Dauber scored 18 points for the Lions and Keegan Edwards added 15.
Winfield-Mount Union (1-10) hosts New London today. Lone Tree improved to 5-4.
Central Lee 77, WACO 57
Jake Fraise scored 27 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead the Hawks to a South Division win at Donnellson. Central Lee's Evan Doyle grabbed 14 rebounds.
Central Lee (6-2) plays at Mount Pleasant today. WACO (4-6) hosts Danville Tuesday.
Van Buren 72, Danville 66
Danville's Max Wilcox led all scorers with 33 points, but Van Buren won the South Division game at Danville.
Caleb Johnson paced Van Buren with 24 points. Mason McDonough scored 17 and Jacob Plecker added 16. Hunter Perkins scored 10 for Danville.
Van Buren (6-4) plays at Moulton-Udell Monday. Danville (6-5) plays WACO at Wayland on Tuesday.
Pekin 64, L-M 62
Cameron Millikin scored a game-high 26 points and led Pekin to a North Division win over Louisa-Muscatine at Packwood.
Kennan Winn added 11 points for Pekin. Zack Bieri led Louisa-Muscatine with 20 points. Brock Jeambey scored 13 for the Falcons and Alex Yerington added 12.
Louisa-Muscatine (4-5) plays at Mediapolis Tuesday. Pekin improved to 7-3.
