(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his great support for the recently concluded 23rd Gulf Cup for football.

In a press statement on Saturday, Al-Ghanim noted that His Highness the Amir provided full support for organizing the sport event in Kuwait, since the country was exerting all efforts to lift the ban on its participation in tournaments.
