Maheshwari community in Barmer erupts over murder of youths in Pak

Jaisalmer: People in Barmer on Saturday protested over the murder of two youths of Maheshwari community in Mithi state of Pakistan. Hundreds of members of Maheshwari community protested and submitted a memorandum in the name of PM Modi demanding security for minority Hindu communities residing in Pakistan.

The incident has sparked anger among the Maheshwari community across India. Protests were held in various parts of the country against Pakistan government.


On Friday, Dilip Kumar and Chandra Kumar of Maheshwari community were murdered in Mithi area. There is an atmosphere of fear among Indians in Pakistan and Maheshwari Sabha has demanded the Indian government to intervene. They have pressed for the arrest of murderers and security to Hindus in Pakistan.
