Gurdeep Singh who is second commandant 36th battallion PAP Bahadurgarh guaranteed us of the clerical job in PSPCL. My son Gurmeet Ram is a class ten qualified and is running his private shop as a barber and we all fell into the net of these accused. We all family members took loans from family and friends and gave Rs 5 lakh to the accused Gurdeep Singh. I am also posted here under 36th battalion PAP and working as a barber. Gurdeep in 2016 came to our house and claimed that he can provide the job to my son Gurmeet in PSPCL as the posts of clerical are out. For a long time the accused failed to get us a job as he promised and then he also failed to return us the money. He then gave us a cheque of Rs 5 lakh that also got bounced. After this, we filed a complaint with the police and it was August last year when police started an investigation. A case is registered against these accused including the Gurdeep Singh who is the prime accused."
