Kate Middleton and Prince William’s first dance song was a classic love song with a modern twist - suitable for the young royals.
The pair, who were 29 at the time of their nuptials in April 2011, took to the dance floor while employing one of the UK’s most popular stars to sing for them.
Ellie Goulding, from Hereford, who is known for hit singles Burn and On My Mind, sang her cover of Your Song.
The romantic number was penned and originally sang by Elton John, and Ellie repurposed it for the John Lewis Christmas advert 2010.

The cover hit the charts thanks to the popular advert, and this no doubt played a part in inspiring Kate and William to choose it.
While many Britons make do with a recording on their big day, of course the British royals had the real deal to sing live at their nuptials.
But was there another reason Prince William and Kate hose Ellie Goulding to sing for them? It is rumoured the singer may have had a fling with Prince Harry, 33.
Harry and Ellie were linked in the press in the summer 2016 - although they may have met when he was best man at his brother’s wedding.
Booking agency Degy Entertainment told the Mirror that Ellie Goulding would likely charge around $100,000, about £74,000.
However, it is not known whether the royals were charged the fee or if the 31-year-old let them off.

Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding were seen spending time together with onlookers claiming they were "all over each other".
One even alleged that they shared a kiss under a blanket.
An unnamed insider revealed: "Harry was really going for it after the polo - he was drinking and dancing.
"They were part of a wider group including Tom Hardy but Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night - they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets."
