Mapusa: A Bijapur native died under debris at a construction site at Anjuna on Friday.
Anjuna police said that the incident took place at 4pm at Gaonkar Vaddo in Anjuna where an old house was being reconstructed.
Dodappa Surpur, 30, was working beside a wall when it collapsed and fell, burying him in the debris.
His body was extricated and sent to Goa Medical College and Hospital for a postmortem.
