Jesus and Juana Gaeta of Alvord announce the birth of a son, Esteban Matias Gaeta, on Dec. 28, 2017, at Wise Health System in Decatur.

He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Esteban has one brother: Abel Ruvalcaba, 10; and one sister: Yareli Gaeta, 6.

Grandparents are Agustin and Abelia Gaeta of Alvord and Claudio and Yolanda Salazar of Mineral Wells.

Great-grandparents are Jose Isabel and Lucina Luevano of Decatur.
