BGB arrests three with explosives in Jessore

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested three men with explosives and sharp weapons in Benapole area of Jessore district on Saturday.

The arrested are: Abu Jayed Roni,27, Ershad Ali, 36, residents of Narayanpur village, and Modhu Mia, 21, a resident of Voberber village in the same upazila.

BGB officials said, acting on a tip off, a team led by Nayeb Subedar Shahidul Islam of Company Sadar conducted a drive at Chhoto Achra Moar in Benapole and arrested them.

14 cocktails, four sharp weapons were recovered from their possession, they said.
