NSB Theology Club
A 32-session historical look at the Apostle Paul with biblical scholar Dominic Crossan will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the music auditorium at Coronado Community United Methodist Church, 102 S. Peninsula Ave., New Smyrna Beach.

Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune’s faith story to be told
A gripping story of what a woman of faith can do in the face of daunting odds. A scholar who has devoted two years to the study of this woman and her faith. These things will come together at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, when Dr. Yahya Jongintaba, professor of Religion and Humanities at Bethune-Cookman University, shares Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune's remarkable faith story at First Presbyterian Church of Daytona Beach, 620 S. Grandview Blvd. Admission is free, and the public is invited! This event is the first being presented by First Presbyterian to mark its 95th anniversary year.

Good Health Events
Body Mind and Soul Ministry at Westminister-by-the-Sea Presbyterian Church will present two events in January that will focus on good health for the New Year at 2268 La Rosa Lane, Port Orange.
• Jan. 10, 9:30-10:30 a.m., a trainer from Elite Strength will show how to do simple exercises at home to stay fit at any age or ability.
