The CHIP program helps fund children’s healthcare for all those children who may need it. Many children’s families may be unable to afford healthcare for them without this program, at no fault of the children affected.
Parents should never have to deal with the problem of debt or inability to pay on top of a child’s illness, and children should not be punished for their illnesses. Funding CHIP will cost very little in terms of the budget, and is a complete necessity for the American values of providing “for ourselves and our posterity.” Please urge our Congressional representatives to fully support and fund CHIP and not play political games with children’s health.
