Bethany Lutheran Church, 2515 Madison Ave., will have a sermon Sunday morning themed “We Honor God Not Tradition.” At 10:50 a.m. there will be a live telecast of the service at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines.

Burlington Baptist Church, 1225 Hagemann Ave., will hear Kendall Adams deliver the sermon, “John 15:1-11” at the 10:15 a.m. service Sunday, and his message, “TBA,” at 6 p.m.

Community of Christ, 901 S. 12th St., will hear Dorothy Burgin speak on, “Be Baptized,” using Mark 1:4-11 at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday.

Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Burlington and West Burlington, will celebrate the Epiphany of Our Lord, one of the oldest Christian feasts, on Sunday. The readings will be Isaiah 60:1-6, Psalm 72:1-2, 7-8, 10-11, 12-13, Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6, and Matthew 2:1-12.

Faith Christian Outreach Church, 1302 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant, will have the Rev. Monte Knudsen ministering the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services Sunday.
