Abdur Razzak
January 23, 1942- August 21, 2017
“Nayak Raj” Razzak was a legendary actor and Director of Bangladesh. He was one of the most influential actors of this country and was called to be the “Banglar Uttam Kumar” for this charismatic looks and appearance. Films like Jibon Theke Neya, Baba Keno Chakor, Chutir Ghonta and many more made Razzak the Raj of the Film Industry. He won the “Bangladeshi National Film Award for the Best Actor” five times and was awarded the Independence Day Award in 2015.
Abdul Jabbar
November 7, 1938- August 30, 2017
Eminent Bangladeshi singer and freedom fighter Abdul Jabbar inspired the whole nation during the Liberation War of 1971 with his patriotic songs. He associated his patriotism with creativity and produced songs like Tumi Ki Dekhechho Kobhu Jiboner Porajoy, Salam Salam Hajar Salam and many more. Due to kidney failure this veteran breathed his last at BSMMU Hospital.
Annisul Huq

Annisul Huq was more than an entrepreneur for Bangladeshis; he was a man of fascinating personality, the elected Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation in 2015. He diligently worked for the citizens of the country and inspired the youths to dream and achieve big.
Bari Siddiqui
November 15, 1954- November 24, 2017
Singer, song-writer and a memorable flutist of Bangladesh, Bari Siddiqui devoted his whole life to folk music. He won the Bachsas Award as a music director for the film Srabon Megher Din for rendering the song Shua Chan Pakhi. Amar Gaye Joto Dukkho Shoy, Oporadhi Hoileo Ami Tor and Matir Deho were some of his best tracks. He left us at the age of 63 due to a heart attack at Square Hospital.
Lucky Akhand

The death of Lucky Akhand put us in a great loss; we lost the most gifted singer-songwriter in the Bangladeshi music arena. He was associated with the band Happy Touch. He composed and sang famous songs like Ei Neel Monihar, Abar Elo Jey Shondha, Amaye Deko na and many more.
