More than 100,000 people flocked to a South Korean ice-fishing festival on Saturday to fish for trout in a frozen lake while braving sub-zero temperatures.

Organizers said at least 133,000 local and foreign visitors had taken part in the festival, either catching fish or watching the various activities taking place.
