Liverpool’s new signing Virgil van Dijk has made a dream start to his Anfield career scoring the winning goal against city rivals Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.

The home side took the lead after 30 minutes of play, when James Milner scored from the penalty spot.

Gylfi Sigurdsson equalized for Everton midway through the second half on a great counter-attack.

But Liverpool’s new 100 million dollar signing, van Dijk, headed home a corner with six minutes remaining to send Liverpool to the fourth round.
