Temporary lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 85 from mile marker 80 to mile marker 84 in Spartanburg County so crews can make repairs.
The repairs are part of a larger project to widen I-85 in Spartanburg County.
Cole Harrison, a consultant working with the South Carolina Department of Transportation, said one lane will be closed overnight on the northbound and soutbound lanes beginning at 7 p.m. along this stretch of road through Jan. 12.
Harrison said work crews from Zachary Construction will repair pavement and signs. Pavement on the interstate's lanes from mile marker 77 to mile marker 80 were recently repaired, Harrison said.
The I-85 widening project is expected to continue through 2021.
