Emmerdale spoilers: Soap legend set to return as Tom Waterhouse's secret revealed?

THE Emmerdale cast's resident super-bitch is set to make an epic comeback.

Emmerdale fans were hit with a blast from the past in last night's episode, when the dashing secret identity was revealed.

The Emmerdale villain and new beau was actually Joseph Tate, son of Chris Tate (Pete Amory).

Veteran Emmerdale fans will remember Chris, who was left paralysed after a plane crash way back in Emmerdale ancient history in 1993.

He married stalwart Charity Dingle (Emma Atkin) in 2001, but their relationship quickly deteriorates when she cheated on him.

After discovering he was suffering from terminal cancer, Chris chose to kill himself, but frame Charity for murder.

Tom/Josesph spent much of his childhood in boarding school before aunt Zoe Tate (Leah Bracknell) earned custody of him and saw him move to New Zealand – until now.

But while some fans are urging for Zoe Tate to make an epic return, other Emmerdale viewers are hoping that Joseph's comeback may see walk the Dales once more.

Hailed as one of Emmerdale's most iconic characters, Kim ran away from Yorkshire to escape the law in 1999.

So, how about it, producers? Will you consider it?"

Another added: "Does this mean we get to see Kim Tate back soon?"

A third fan tweeted actress Claire directly: "If they ain't asked you back you need your agent to get back on that phone."
