SLPP goes to Supreme Court over Maharagama nomination list

A group of representatives from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking an order to accept the rejected nomination list of the party for Maharagama Urban Council.

The petition was filed yesterday (Jan. 04).

The returning officer had rejected the SLPP nomination list as it had not mentioned the women representation in the list properly.
