A Findlay woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Trenton Avenue, the Findlay Police Department reported.
Police said a 2004 Nissan Sentra, driven by Bijal Malaviya, 42, of Auburn, Washington, was stopped for traffic in the westbound lane of the 800 block of West Trenton at 4:18 p.m. when her car was struck by a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Christine Decaro, 47, of Findlay.
Decaro was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of a neck injury, police reported. She was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance ahead, according to police.
The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the scene.
