Panmure Estate workers stay away from work to avoid unwelcome guest

Workers of Panmure Estate  did not report to work today, January 5, due to the threat they face over a leopard roaming the area.

According to villagers, they have faced severe economic difficulties due to this issue.

Chaotic scenes were reported from the Panmure Estate four days ago due to a leopard that wandered into the estate and injured seven persons during the chaos.

Wildlife officers launched an operation to capture the leopard. According to our correspondent in the area, the operation is continuing.

Residents note that they have detected signs of the leopard roaming last night.

The authority is requested by villagers to take necessary action immediately to resolve the issue.
