BCL leader commits suicide in Laxmipur

Laxmipur: Police recovered the hanging body of a Bangladesh Chhatra League leader in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.

Son of Lazmipur district parishad member Belayet Hossain, deceased Abdul Hannan Shakil was the finance affairs secretary of district unit AL and also the organising secretary of Khilgaon thana.

The victim's friend said Shakil wrote 'Allah Hafez' to his face book id around 2am.

Family members found him in a hanging condition into their kitchen of the house this morning.

Chandraganj Police Station OC Moktar Hossain said the body was sent to Sadar hospital morgue.
