Pontiac man in critical condition after hit-and-run, reward offered

A bicyclist was critically injured in a hit and run accident in Pontiac on Friday.

The victim, a 52-year-old Pontiac man was hit by a light-colored, late model SUV while riding on Woodward Avenue near Osmun Street shortly after midnight Friday, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, based on surveillance video obtained from a nearby business. The driver then fled the scene.

The crash likely caused damage to the vehicle’s front end and/or passenger side.
