NEW SMYRNA BEACH — It's official: the new SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel in New Smyrna Beach will open on Tuesday, Marriott International has confirmed.

The 114-suite oceanfront hotel, at 512 Flagler Ave., will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Poseidon Hotel Ventures LLC and managed by Strand Hospitality Services of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, according to a news release. Rates begin at $199 per night.

“As a brand opening a new hotel every 10 days on average, we are delighted that the SpringHill Suites New Smyrna Beach is the latest addition to our growing number of properties across the United States and Canada,” said Callette Nielsen, vice president and global brand manager, SpringHill Suites.

The hotel includes a full-service bar and cafe and two meeting rooms with 1,820 square feet of meeting space to accommodate meetings and functions of up to 120 people.

It also offers a complimentary breakfast for overnight guests, business services, a 24/7 Market, complimentary Wi-Fi, guest laundry facilities, an oceanfront outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
