Paws Humane Society receives $2,500 grant

ROCKFORD — Paws Humane Society recently received a $2,500 grant from the Lil Bub's Fund at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to be used as an emergency medical fund for special needs animals.

This grant will be used to help even more of the most vulnerable unowned animals in our community with the medical care that they need, allowing them to find the forever homes that they deserve. Paws Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization specializing in animal rescue, humane education and low-cost spay/neuter assistance for farm, feral and stray cats.
