The perfect time for moon rise is 8.20 pm in the night. All the women breaks their fast by offering water to moon and by eating Til Ladoo. First of all, the statue of Lord Ganesha is offered Panchamrit, fruit, red flower, Akshat, Roli, Mauli, Ladoo etc. Women must also chanting 108 Ganesh Mantra – Om Ganeshaayh Namah. Method of worshiping at Sakat Chauth
Wake up early in the morning and take a bath. After this, keep your face on north or east direction while worshiping Lord Ganesha. Do not see Lord Ganesha’s back. Offer Til Ladoo or any other Ladoo to Lord Ganesha. Also offer flower, roli, Panchamrit to Ganesha and sing Lord Ganapati’s arti to get prosperity at home. Along with this, the story of the Sakat Chaturthi must be read.
