Jupiter’s Moon review: Ambitious art-house version of a superhero film
AMBITIOUS Hungarian drama Jupiter’s Moon may be a bit of a muddle but it is never dull.

Syrian refugee Aryan (Zsombor Jéger) is running for his life when he arrives at the border between Serbia and Hungary.
He is shot three times in the chest but inexplicably survives. He has also acquired the ability to levitate which makes him a valuable commodity in the eyes of cynical Doctor Stern (Merab Ninidze).
Promoted as a miracle worker with healing powers, Aryan becomes a Christ-like figure even as his new powers become a curse.
Like an art-house version of a superhero film, Jupiter’s Moon tries to balance car chases and explosions with an examination of redemption, rebirth, blind faith and false hope.
