He's going to go back no matter what! Manchester United return predicted for Leeds flop
LEEDS UNITED will send loan flop Cameron Borthwick-Jackson back to Manchester United.
That is according to former Leeds forward Noel Whelan, who believes the left-back’s expected appearance against Newport County in the FA Cup on Sunday (12pm) will not change his fortunes.
Borthwick-Jackson is due to spend the season at Elland Road but talks have been held about scrapping the deal.
He has not featured for Leeds in a Championship fixture since his debut against Preston North End in August.
Head coach Thomas Christiansen revealed earlier this week that Borthwick-Jackson would feature against Newport.

But Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds: “I don't think it makes any difference. I think he's going to go back no matter what.
“I think they are just giving some of the lads a break, giving some bodies a game.
“I expect at least seven changes, at least.”
Championship rivals Reading hope to snap up Borthwick-Jackson on loan.
Jaap Stam needs a left-back after losing Jordan Obita to injury for the rest of the season in October.

United want Borthwick-Jackson to be playing regularly and Stam is willing to meet his former club’s demands.
According to the Daily Mail, Borthwick-Jackson fancies a move away from Leeds and a loan move with the option to make it permanent in the summer could be struck.
Meanwhile, Leeds could move for Southampton left-back Sam McQueen as a replacement.
Brentford and Reading are also interested.
