ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Media will dedicate a special air flight to Kuwait for media professionals and literati to attend the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup versus Oman on Friday under directives of Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Dr Ali Bin Tamim, Director General of Abu Dhabi Media, has expressed sincere thanks to Sheikh Hazaa for all the support he is lending to the UAE football teams in particular and sportsmen in general.

“Sheikh Hazaa’s instructions to dedicate a special flight to support our national team in Kuwait mirrors a noble message that inculcates the role delivered by football in strengthening loyalty to the homeland and keeping our national flag flying high on all sports arenas worldwide,” said Dr Tamim.

“ We wholeheartedly support our national tam and trust their ability to come back carrying the 3rd Gulf cup in our history,” he enthused.

The flight, the details of which will be declared later, will carry a number of literati, media professionals and artists. In a related development, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Hamad bin Mohamed Al Sharqi, Chairman of Al Fujairah Club has ordered three special air flights to Kuwait for the same purpose.
