Idea Cellular, YES Bank,Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Punjab National Bank were the most traded stocks.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Goenka Diamond and Jewels (20 per cent), Jet Knitwears (19.99 per cent), Nitesh Estates (19.81 per cent) and Kaushalya Infrastructure Development Corporation (19.30 per cent) zoomed up to 20 per cent in Friday's trade, reflecting bullish market sentiment.

Shares of McDowell Holdings (15.46 per cent), Umang Dairies (13.42 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation (13.07 per cent), Nakoda (12.50 per cent) and Prism Cement (12.12 per cent) surged over 12 per cent.

Equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex kept trading in the positive zone after hitting fresh record highs of 10,563 and 34,175, respectively.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 43 points up at 10,548, while BSE Sensex was 162 points up at 34,132 around 11:10 am (IST).

Shares of Idea Cellular, YES Bank,Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India and Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) were among the most traded stocks on NSE.

In the Nifty index, YES Bank, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank and Bharti Airtel were among the top gainers.

On the contrary, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Indian Oil Corporation, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Tech Mahindra were trading among the losers.

Out of 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
