Indian national held with firearm, bullets in Lalmonirhat

Lalmonirhat: Police detained an Indian national along with firearm and bullets in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat early Friday.

The detainee is Aminul Matobbar alias Pagla Atangk, 25, of Matiapara under Gosaigaon thana in Kokrajhar of Asam.

On secret information, a team of police raided the house of Rashid, friend of Aminul, at Jagatbar village early hours and nabbed him along with 48 bullets and a firearm.

A case was lodged against Aminul with Patgram Police Station, Patgram Police Station OC Aboni Sangkar said.
