There has been a lot of hype surrounding a new Meizu device lately on the internet. A lot of rumors as well as leaks about the alleged smartphone have appeared online and just recently the Chinese brand also sent out official press invites for the launch of the handset dubbed as Meizu M6S aka the mblu S6. It is expected to be manufactured under the mBlu division.
Having said that, the Meizu smartphone has appeared on ANTUTU just ahead of its launch on January 17. And with this, we get an idea of what Meizu M6S or mblu S6 is bringing to the table. Going by the listing, the details subsequently confirms some of the previous rumors surrounding the M6S.
To start with Meizu M6S is powered by a hexacore chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The chipset is rumored to be Samsung Exynos 7872 which should be built on the 14nm process. It should further have two Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 more. Graphics operations will be handled by Mali-G71 GPU. The display will have a resolution of 1440×720 pixels.
The smartphone offers 32GB of ROM and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company's custom FlyMe OS 6.0 on top. However, this listing is probably for one of the two variants that will be unveiled. All in all looking at all this information, it looks like this will be a mid-range device.
Meanwhile, previous rumors and leaks have suggested that Meizu M6S is expected to come with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a 2.5D curved glass for added protection. The Meizu M6S is said to come in two memory variants which will be a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant and a 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage variant. The storage space should be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
This dual SIM smartphone from Meizu is said to be backed by a rather smaller capacity 2930mAh battery. The handset should also come with standard features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. Moreover, an alleged hands-on video and other images hint towards the presence of a side mounted fingerprint scanner. Meizu The handset will measure at 52 × 72.54 × 8mm.
