But the suggestion enraged footie supporters and her own fans on social media.

Fan Cara said: “A ban takes us back into the Middle Ages.”
Nicola-Clare Weller added: “There’s days your nothing better than a rambling womble.”
A handful of fans tried to defend Lily, claiming she did not “mean it literally”.
Ross Lombardi said: “It is obviously (well not obvious too you perhaps) she did not mean it literally.”
